With so much sadness and destruction far and wide, following the unprecedented flooding both here in QLD and in Northern NSW,

I AM TAKING ACTION and doing all that I can to raise much-needed funds for one of my favourite places here in Brisbane, Northey Street City Farm.

Northey Street City Farm is a community-based urban permaculture farm which promotes and educates for sustainability. It's also where I shop, every Sunday morning - the marketplace offers the most fabulous organic produce around, and supports local Farming families!

The Farm has suffered extensive damage on a par with the 1974 floods and they have lost fridges, freezers, food stock, nursery stock, a commercial dishwasher, event equipment, pie ovens, mowers & whipper snippers, and now face a $30,000 insurance excess.

PLEASE join ME on Sunday the 10th of APRIL and support this initiative to RAISE $5000 for the Farm's Flood Relief Campaign!
